Alumni Informational Interview Program

The alumni informational interview program, fostered in 2005 as a pilot program in Washington, D.C , continues to seek alumni volunteers across the country. The Office of Admission looks forward to further developing the program and is proud to have expanded into Chicago.  By interviewing prospective students and applicants, you have the opportunity to share your Richmond experience, help these students gather more information during their college search, and in so doing increase the visibility of the University of Richmond in the Chicago area.

Alumni Recruitment Committee

In addition to the alumni informational interview program, the Office of Admission coordinates the Alumni Recruitment Committee (ARC).  The University of Richmond relies upon the support of our dedicated alumni volunteers to interact with prospective undergraduate students.  The ARC program, a body of more than 600 alumni volunteers, supports the efforts and initiatives of the Office of Admission.

Wednesday, September 17, 2008  Young Grads from the Chicago area welcomed the Class of 2008 to their new city at John Barleycorn.

Wednesday, May 21, 2008  The Chicago Alumni Chapter and the University of Richmond Alumni Association invited alumni, parents and friends to the Union League Club of Chicago to welcome Dr. Edward L. Ayers as the ninth president of the University of Richmond.

September 5, 2007 Young Grads in the Chicago area gathered to welcome members of Class of 2007 at a happy hour at John Barleycorn.

Wednesday, September 20, 2006 Young Grads in the Chicago area gathered for a happy hour at Sidebar Grille to welcome the newly graduated Class of 2006.

Thursday, January 22, 2004   The Chicago Chapter invited alumni to gather at Lincoln Station to watch the Richmond vs. Kansas basketball game at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN2.
