Friday, July 18, 2008 The Northern Virginia Alumni Chapter co-sponsored the annual trip to Wolf Trap with the Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter with much success! Alumni, family and friends gathered for dinner prior to the Pat McGee Band concert with special guest Sister Hazel.

Alumni, family, and friends gathered at Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm for a winter happy hour complete with good food, great friends, and plenty of Spider Spirit.

Friday, December 7, 2007 - The Washington, DC & Northern Virginia alumni chapters returned to the Crystal City Sports Pub to watch the UR vs. Appalachian State NCAA semifinal football game.
December 1, 2007 - Alumni & friends in the Washington, DC & Northern Virginia Alumni Chapters cheered the Spiders on to victory in the NCAA quarterfinal game against Wofford at Crystal City Sports Pub.
October 19, 2007 - Alumni, family, and friends gathered for a wine tasting featuring wine from Ashburn Wine Shop at the home of Carey Williams Getis, L’93 and Joel B. Getis, R’88.
