Recent Events

Monday, October 27, 2008  Alumni, family and friends enjoyed a private viewing of the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and then enjoyed a reception at the museum.

Saturday, August 30, 2008  The Carolina Triad & Triangle Alumni Chapters and the Spider Club welcomed alumni, family and friends to a pre-game tailgate at Fire House Field before the Richmond Spiders took on the Elon Phoenix in the 2008 Football Season opener.

Wednesday, July 30, 2008  The Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter welcomed the Class of 2012 to the University of Richmond family on the third base party deck at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park for the Durham Bulls vs. Buffalo Bisons game.

Wednesday, April 23, 2008  Alumni, family and friends gathered at Bella Monica for a wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres reception.  A sold-out event!

Wednesday, July 25, 2007  The Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter welcomed the Class of 2011 to the University of Richmond family at their annual trip to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Tuesday, May 15, 2007  Alumnae were invited to a cocktail reception at the home of Harriett Stubbs, '52 with special guest Juliette Landphair, Dean, Westhampton College.

Friday, January 5, 2007   
Alumni, family and friends toured the Monet in Normandy exhibit
at the North Carolina Museum of Art and enjoyed dinner at the museum restaurant.

Saturday, September 2, 2006     Alumni, family and friends joined the Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter and Spider Club for the Richmond Spiders vs. Duke Blue Devils tailgate and football game.  Jim Miller, Director of Athletics, Dave Johnson, Vice President for Advancement and Rod Smolla, Dean, School of Law welcomed the 260 guests on behalf of the University.

Thursday, July 21, 2005   The Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter invited alumni to a picnic dinner followed by the Durham Bulls vs. Richmond Braves baseball game at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Friday, January 7, 2005   The Carolina Triangle Chapter invited alumni to a tour of the North Carolina Museum of Art show Matisse, Picasso and the School of Paris: Masterpieces from the Baltimore Museum of Art. This special tour was led by the director of the museum, Larry Wheeler, following dinner at the museum restaurant.
