Your lifelong relationship with your alma mater does not end the day you graduate. It just matures. We want you to stay involved in shaping the University of Richmond community. Through the various organizations and opportunities listed below, we offer you numerous ways to do just that. There are even opportunities for undergraduates to get involved. Come join us.
Alumni Associations
University of Richmond Alumni Association (URAA)
The URAA's mission is to promote and foster a dynamic, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship between the University of Richmond and its alumni; enlist and encourage alumni support for the University; sustain a spirit of excitement in our alma mater; and provide opportunities for alumni to connect with each other through meaningful programs and activities.
T. C. Williams School of Law Alumni Association
The Law Alumni Association includes graduates who are established practitioners, young graduates just beginning to practice, faculty and staff of the Law School and current students.
School of Continuing Studies Alumni Association
The SCS Alumni Association's mission is to benefit the school, our students, and our alumni through projects and programs that promote scholarship and opportunities of service and fellowship.
Regional Alumni Chapters
Alumni gather across the county and around the world. With over 30 regional alumni chapters sponsoring events, from barbecues and concerts to receptions for visiting faculty and staff, there is something for everyone. In joining your regional alumni chapter, you join fellow alumni, parents, and students in celebrating the past, present and future of the University of Richmond.
Greater Richmond Alumni Chapter
The Greater Richmond Alumni Chapter serves University of Richmond's largest alumni population, those living in the Richmond metropolitan area.

Arts Around the Lake
The Arts Around the Lake Committe includes alumni who help to faciliate the fine art show, Arts Around the Lake, which is held during Family Weekend.
Alumni Admissions Recruitment Committee
Stay connected with the University by becoming an Admissions volunteer! Join 700 of your fellow Spiders in helping to recruit new students as an Alumni Recruitment Committee member. As a member, you’ll get to attend college fairs, interview local students, serve as an alumni panelist at events, and keep informed about life on campus. The D.C. Initiative
A network of administrative leaders, faculty, alumni and friends in the Washington D.C. metro area who work together to improve student recruitment, enhance educational programs and expand opportunities for career development.
Young Graduate Program
Alumni gather in cities across the country and many Regional Alumni Chapters have young alumni committees and young alumni chairs to help facilitate activities specifically for young alumni (defined as undergraduates in graduating classes of the last ten years). Though young alumni are active in many chapters, areas with the largest young alumni populations have a very active presence. Some of these areas include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Richmond, New York City, and Washington, D.C.
The Young Graduates Council of the Greater Richmond Alumni Chapter is a group of young grads who help facilitate opportunities for the largest young alumni population which is in the Greater Richmond area.

Student Ambassadors
The Student Ambassador program was created during the 2006-2007 academic year as a volunteer and leadership opportunity for students to give back to the University by serving as student representatives at significant university events for alumni. Special Interests
Career Network of the Career Development Center
The Career Network and SpiderConnect is an online networking initiative offered by the Career Development Center allowing alumni to directly assist fellow alumni and current students. The online searchable database allows you to connect with alumni that work for organizations or in professions that interest you. You may also seek out alumni that share similar UR experiences with you and learn more about their career paths. To sign up, please log into UR Online and select the Career Networking option in the left-hand navigation menu.
Frederic W. Boatwright Society
An organization of alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago.
Lake Society
A service organization of alumni.
Chapel Guild
Supports the Chaplaincy in its programs of ministry and the Cannon Memorial Chapel.
Friends of the Library
The Friends provide support to the Boatwright Memorial Library.
Spider Battalion
An organization of R.O.T.C. alumni.
Spider Club
An organization to support Spider athletics.
