Carolina Triangle Spiders You are cordially invited to join fellow Richmond alumni, parents, and friends for an evening at the North Carolina Museum of Art. We will gather for wine and hors d'oeuvres at the West Building wine bar, then proceed to the East Building for a self-guided tour of the visiting Norman Rockwell exhibition. Thursday, March 18, 2010  Alumni gathered at Tobacco Road to cheer on the Spiders vs. St. Mary's in round 1 of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in Providence, Rhode Island.

Saturday, December 5, 2009  Spider fans gathered at Hi5 - Sports Restuarant and Bar to cheer on the Spiders vs. Appalachian State in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Saturday, November 21, 2009  Alumni, family and friends gathered at Carolina Ale House - Brier Creek to cheer on the Spiders vs. William & Mary for the last regular season game.  Spider victory!

Saturday, September 5, 2009  The Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter and the Spider Club of the University of Richmond welcomed alumni, family, and friends to a pre-game tailgate before the Richmond Spiders took on the Duke Blue Devils in the 2009 Football Season opener.  A Spider victory!

Thursday, August 6, 2009  Alumni, family and friends gathered at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to Welcome the Class of 2013 over dinner and a Bulls victory!

Monday, April 27, 2009  The Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter invited alumni, family and friends to visit with Coach London while watching Run to the Roar, the new championship DVD, at Amedeo's Italian Restaurant.

Saturday, August 30, 2008  The Carolina Triad & Triangle Alumni Chapters and the Spider Club welcomed alumni, family and friends to a pre-game tailgate at Fire House Field before the Richmond Spiders took on the Elon Phoenix in the 2008 Football Season opener.

Wednesday, July 30, 2008  The Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter welcomed the Class of 2012 to the University of Richmond family on the third base party deck at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park for the Durham Bulls vs. Buffalo Bisons game.

Tuesday, May 15, 2007  Alumnae were invited to a cocktail reception at the home of Harriett Stubbs, '52 with special guest Juliette Landphair, Dean, Westhampton College.

Alumni, family and friends toured the Monet in Normandy exhibit
at the North Carolina Museum of Art and enjoyed dinner at the museum restaurant.

Saturday, September 2, 2006     Alumni, family and friends joined the Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter and Spider Club for the Richmond Spiders vs. Duke Blue Devils tailgate and football game.  Jim Miller, Director of Athletics, Dave Johnson, Vice President for Advancement and Rod Smolla, Dean, School of Law welcomed the 260 guests on behalf of the University.

Thursday, July 21, 2005   The Carolina Triangle Alumni Chapter invited alumni to a picnic dinner followed by the Durham Bulls vs. Richmond Braves baseball game at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Friday, January 7, 2005   The Carolina Triangle Chapter invited alumni to a tour of the North Carolina Museum of Art show Matisse, Picasso and the School of Paris: Masterpieces from the Baltimore Museum of Art. This special tour was led by the director of the museum, Larry Wheeler, following dinner at the museum restaurant.
