Alumni Informational Interview Program
The alumni informational interview program, fostered in 2005 as a pilot program in Washington, D.C , continues to seek alumni volunteers across the country. The Office of Admission looks forward to further developing the program and is proud to have expanded into Philadelphia.  By interviewing prospective students and applicants, you have the opportunity to share your Richmond experience, help these students gather more information during their college search, and in so doing increase the visibility of the University of Richmond in the Philadelphia area.

Alumni Recruitment Committee
In addition to the alumni informational interview program, the Office of Admission coordinates the Alumni Recruitment Committee (ARC).  The University of Richmond relies upon the support of our dedicated alumni volunteers to interact with prospective undergraduate students.  The ARC program, a body of more than 600 alumni volunteers, supports the efforts and initiatives of the Office of Admission.

Thursday, April 23, 2009  The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter and Lilly Pulitzer invited alumni, family and friends to sip, shop and socialize with fellow Spiders in the area.  Hosted by Emilie Kirkland MacFarlane, '00 and Bridget Needham, '08, a fun night was had by all who attended.

Saturday, January 31, 2009  The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter invited area alumni, parents and their guests to a pre-game event at The Draught Horse Pub, prior to the UR vs. Temple men's basketball game.

Friday, December 19, 2008  Alumni, family and friends gathered at Kelly's Taproom for a game watching party: Richmond Spiders vs. Montana Grizzlies in the NCAA Championship Game.  Spider victory!

Thursday, December 11, 2008  Alumni, family and friends welcomed Dean Croushore, Associate Professor of Economics and Rigsby Fellow at the Robins School of Business, to the Sofitel Philadelphia for the annual holiday reception.

Saturday, September 27, 2008  Alumni, family and friends gathered at The Exchange at Bartley Hall on Villanova's campus prior to the UR vs. Villanova football game.

Wednesday, September 17, 2008  Philadelphia area young grads gathered for a happy hour at Manayunk Brewery to welcome members of the Class of 2008 to Philadelphia.

Thursday, February 21, 2008  Young alumni and friends gathered at the Manayunk Brewery for a winter happy hour.

Thursday, December 13, 2007 The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter and the University of Richmond Alumni Association gathered at the Down Town Club to welcome Dr. Edward L. Ayers as the ninth University President.

December 7, 2007 The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter organized a game watch party for the UR vs. App State game in the NCAA semifinals at Kelly's Tap Room.

Saturday, November 10, 2007  Alumni, family and friends gathered at the home of Kathy and Dick, '66 Fischer in Landenberg, PA for a pre-game tailgate before cheering on the Spiders to victory over the Delaware Blue Hens. Photo Gallery

Saturday, May 19, 2007   The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter invited alumni, family and friends to join alumni from Duke University, University of Florida and University of Virginia along the rail at the 77th Radnor Hunt Races. 

Thursday, December 7, 2006  The Philadelphia and Wilmington Alumni Chapters invited alumni and parents to a holiday reception at The Union League of Philadelphia, with guest speakers Leslie Stevenson, Career Development Center, and Kristen Marshall, Office of Admission.

Saturday, November 4, 2006  The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter invited alumni, parents, family and friends to a pre-game reception with Jim Miller, Director of Athletics, prior to the UR vs. Villanova football game.

Young Grads gathered at the Black Sheep Pub to welcome the Class of 2006
to the Philadelphia area.

Saturday, May 20, 2006   The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter invited alumni, family and friends to join alumni from James Madison University, Mary Baldwin College, Roanoke College, University of Florida, University of Virginia and Washington & Lee University along the rail at the 76th Radnor Hunt Races.  Guests enjoyed a Southern-style tailgate picnic and a best hat contest.

Wednesday, April 26, 2006   The Philadelphia Chapter invited alumni to an evening with Dr. June R. Aprille, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, hosted by Anne and Matt Hamilton, P'08 at their home in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Thursday, December 1, 2005   The Philadelphia and Wilmington Chapters invited alumni to a holiday reception at The Union League of Philadelphia, with special guest Dr. David D. Burhans, Chaplain Emeritus.

Wednesday, August 10, 2005   The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter and the department of athletics invited alumni to a cocktail reception at the Vesper Boat Club.  Jim Miller, director of athletics, Michael Shafer, head women's basketball coach, and Chris Mooney, head men's basketball coach, (pictured to the right with Philadelphia alumni) updated alumni on athletics as the guest speakers for the evening.

Saturday, October 16, 2004  The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter invited area alumni and their guests to the University of Richmond vs Villanova football game and tailgate.
