Saturday, February 28, 2009 Alumni, family and friends ushered at the newly re-opened Ford's Theatre. Following the matinee, they gathered across the street at Bistro D'Oc for appetizers and drinks to hear from Teresa Williams, Associate Dean, Jepson School of Leadership Studies, about the different ways the University was celebrating the bicentennial of Lincoln's birthday. Special thanks to Megan Kuhn, '05 for making it all happen!

Tuesday, January 6, 2009  Young Grads shared their best networking tips with future alumni during a Career Networking Happy Hour at Local 16.

Friday, December 19, 2008  Alumni, family and friends gathered at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern to cheer the Spiders on to victory in the FCS National Championship game vs. the Montana Grizzlies. GO SPIDERS!!

Saturday, December 13, 2008  Alumni, family and friends gathered at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern to cheer the Spiders on to victory vs. the UNI Panthers in the NCAA Semi-finals.

Saturday, December 6, 2008  Alumni, family and friends gathered at Crystal City Sports Bar to cheer the Spiders on to victory vs. the ASU Mountaineers in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Saturday, November 15, 2008  Young grads sponsored a game watching party at Crystal City Sports Pub and cheered on the Spiders as they defeated the Delaware Blue Hens 31-14. Special thanks to Megan Kuhn, '05 for organizing and hosting the event!

Wednesday, September 17, 2008  Young grads welcomed the Class of 2008 to the city at a happy hour at Clarendon Grill. Special thanks to Melanie Mayhew, '05 and Stephanie Spear, '05 for hosting the event!

Wednesday, August 6, 2008  Young grads cruised down the Potomac and into the sunset on the Second Annual Boat Cruise. Pictures to follow!

Thursday, November 29, 2007 The Richmond Spiders and the William & Mary Tribe met at McFadden's for a joint mixer to benefit Our Daily Bread.

Wednesday, September 5, 2007 Local young grads met at the Liberty Tavern in Clarendon to welcome members of the Class of 2007 to the Washington, DC area.

Wednesday, July 11, 2007 Young grads set sail on a sunset boat cruise of the Potomac.

Friday, June 1, 2007 Young alums gathered at Sonoma (DC) for the June First Friday Happy Hour.

Saturday, May 5, 2007  UR grads took in the Virginia Gold Cup races on University Row with alums from 66 other universities. This popular event was an early sell-out!

Wednesday, January 10, 2007 UR young grads and members of the Class of 2007 gathered to network and socialize at a New Year's happy hour held at La Tasca in Arlington, VA.

Wednesday, November 8, 2006 Young grads from UR, UVA, W&M, & Virginia Tech held a join happy hour at McFadden's in Foggy Bottom.  There was a toiletry drive held to benefit Our Daily Bread of Fairfax, VA. 

Friday, October 6, 2006  There was a first Friday Happy Hour at Buffalo Billiards.

Wednesday, September 20, 2006  Young Grads gathered at Mister Days to welcome the Class of 2006 to the Washington, D.C. area.

Friday, August 4, 2006  There was a First Friday Happy Hour on the rooftop bar at Local 16.

Monday, July 31, 2006   The Washington, D.C. Chapter invited area young grads for a glass of wine, cheese and crackers and the movie Bullitt on the National Mall at their annual Screen on the Green event.

Friday, March 3, 2006   There was a First Friday happy hour at Four Green Fields, formerly Ireland's Four Provinces.

Friday, January 6, 2006   There was a First Friday Happy Hour at Chef Geoff's.

Friday, November 4, 2005   There was a joint happy hour with Wake Forest University at Gordon Biersch.

Monday, July 25, 2005   The DC Chapter invited alumni to "Screen on the Green" on the National Mall to enjoy a summer evening watching Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948).
