Tuesday, September 15, 2009 The NoVA Alumni Chapter and the University of Richmond Alumni Association welcomed Dr. Ayers to Northern Virginia for a cocktail reception at the Lansdowne Resort.
Thursday, June 18, 2009 The NoVA and WDC Alumni Chapters invited alumni, family and friends to Wolf Trap for an evening of music, food and fun! Dinner was held on the lawn prior to the Huey Lewis & The News concert with special guest Paul Thorn.
Saturday, February 21, 2009 The WDC and NoVA Alumni Chapters and the University of Richmond Alumni Association welcomed Dr. Ayers back to Washington, D.C. with Mike London, R'83, Head Football Coach, for a cocktail reception at The Fairmont.
Friday, December 19, 2008 Alumni, family and friends gathered at Velocity Five for a game watching party to cheer on the Richmond Spiders vs. the Montana Grizzlies in the National Championship Game. Spider victory!

Friday, July 18, 2008 The Northern Virginia Alumni Chapter co-sponsored the annual trip to Wolf Trap with the Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter with much success! Alumni, family and friends gathered for dinner prior to the Pat McGee Band concert with special guest Sister Hazel.

Friday, December 7, 2007 - The Washington, DC & Northern Virginia alumni chapters returned to the Crystal City Sports Pub to watch the UR vs. Appalachian State NCAA semifinal football game.
December 1, 2007 - Alumni & friends in the Washington, DC & Northern Virginia Alumni Chapters cheered the Spiders on to victory in the NCAA quarterfinal game against Wofford at Crystal City Sports Pub.
October 19, 2007 - Alumni, family, and friends gathered for a wine tasting featuring wine from Ashburn Wine Shop at the home of Carey Williams Getis, L’93 and Joel B. Getis, R’88.
