Welcome to the Spider family... And the Class of 2013!

Every summer, members of the incoming class and transfer students across the country attend the Summer Send-Off to welcome them to the Spider family.  Whether you’re from Philadelphia or Boston, or you’re traveling to Chicago or Washington, D.C., we hope you can find an event (or two!) that accommodates your summer plans. 

For those who have made these events a summer tradition, thank you for joining us for what will be another great send-off season.  For those members of the Class of 2013 and transfer students, welcome to the family!

2. Follow the link on the event detail page for registration. (Parents who are also alumni, please use the alumni registration link). You may also register by calling the Office of Alumni Relations at (804) 289-8027, or (800) 480-4774, option 8.

Why Registration is so Important

Spider Summer Send-Offs are held across the country and are usually hosted by alumni in their homes. It is important to provide the hosts with an accurate attendance number in order to make the event a success.

Photographs Taken During Events

Photographs taken during the Spider Summer Send-Off may be used in University publications or the Web site. If you do not wish to be photographed, please alert the photographer.
