Spider in the Spotlight is an interview series with Richmond Alumni sponsored by the University of Richmond Alumni Association.

James E. Wilberger, Jr., M.D., R'74: A distinguished neurotrauma specialist who has advanced treatment for injuries to the head and spinal cord.  Dr. Jack Wilberger is chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Drexel University College of Medicine and directs the neurosurgical residency training program at Pittsburgh's Allegheny General Hospital.

Anne Jolly Schlusser, '95:  Recognizing that businesses need extra attention and support when when it comes to finding the right temporary employee, Anne Jolly Schlusser co-founded Clarity, a New York-based staffing agency, with a focus on exceptional client service. Ten years later, the company has offices on both coasts, and Anne says, "for me, it's the perfect job."

 Joseph Williams, R'84: A daily spectator to events both momentous and trifling in the nation's capital, Joseph Williams, R'84, serves as a Deputy White House editor for Politico the website and newspaper devoted to national politics.   

Drew Setterberg, '06: Working in the Pentagon within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Drew Setterberg, '06, helps the Department of defense repond to Congressional oversight inquires and advances legislation related to acquisition of weapons systems for the nation's armed services. 

 Jim Detwiler, B'74:  Leading a team of developers, engineers and purchasers in collaboration with designers and artists, Jim Detwiler, B'74, is Executive Director of Packaging and Purchasing at Chanel, responsible for packages and promotional support for one of the most famous fragrance, cosmetic and fashion houses in the world.
