• Communications Committee

The Communications Committee’s major responsibility is to serve as a link between our alumni and the Board of Directors of the alumni association.  We are anxious to stay in touch with our alumni through personal contact as well as electronic and written mail.  We are constantly updating our web site in order to facilitate communications with our alumni.  So if you are a good communicator and/or enjoy working on web sites, please contact:

• Special Events Committee

The Special Events Committee’s major responsibility is to plan and execute social events that serve our alumni. This committee is especially fun to work with because they get to plan the parties! This year we will host a breakfast reception and campus tour on Saturday, October 24^th (Homecoming). Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters. If you enjoy seeing old friends and planning parties, please contact:

• Fundraising Committee

This committee is responsible for planning and executing fundraising events. This year we will host two events, one at Short Pump Towne Center in the fall and a golf tournament in the spring. Many volunteers are needed for the golf tournament, and if you would like to help contact:

• Graduation Committee
  
  Come and relive the excitement of your graduation by volunteering to participate in the Alumni Induction Ceremony held each year on the day graduating seniors receive their cap and gowns.  After a brief ceremony of induction into the alumni association, there is a wonderful celebration with food and drink and lots of fellowship.  If you would like to be a part of this celebration please contact:

• Membership Committee

The major responsibility of this committee is the active solicitation of alumni to join our alumni association.  In addition, they are responsible for recruiting members to serve on the board of directors of the alumni association.  This committee’s work is vital to keeping your board of directors in touch with membership.  If you would like to have an impact on the future of your alumni association please contact:

• Finance Committee

The major responsibilities of this committee include preparation of annual association budget, submission of year-end accounting, and reporting on any financial transactions involving association funds.  If you would like to work on this committee, please contact:
