SCS Fall '07 Book Fair

2008 Homecoming Breakfast and Campus Tour

Saturday, October 25, 2008 9:30 - 11:00 on Saturday, October 25th

No fee, but advance registration (2008 registration coming soon) is requested (to help with catering numbers).

Mary Ramsey Evans, president of the SCS alumni association, will speak briefly to attendees about the benefits available to all alumni, followed by a walking tour of campus to include the Weinstein Fitness Center, Boatwright Library, and the bookstore.

 

A Night Under the Stars at Short Pump Town Center

Join the School of Continuing Studies Alumni Association for "A Night Under the Stars" at Short Pump Town Center on Sunday, November 2, 2008 (Rain Date: November 9, 2008). This fund-raising event is a night of private shopping and family entertainment from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., exclusively for supporters of participating charities.  Throughout the Town Center, there will be exclusive store discounts, entertainment, food sampling and more.  Tickets to the event cost $5 and will be available from any SCS Alumni Association board member or by emailing Jim Morgan at telltheteacher@gmail.com . 100% of all ticket proceeds benefit the SCS Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.  Be sure to bring your family and friends for an evening of fun!

It's been said that golf is a lot of walking, broken up by disappointment and bad arithmetic.  Add in a lot of fun and a great fund raising opportunity, and you've got the SCS Golf Tournament. Mark your calendars now for this exciting event.

Individual player registration will be $100.  Tournament, corporate and hole sponsorship will also be available. Details will be finalized soon.
